Enforcement Notice
The Utility Regulation and Competition Office released its “Notice of Enforcement” at the start of August, continuing efforts to ensure absolute compliance from its ICT Licensees.

NOTICE OF ENFORCEMENT
(Financial Reporting and Licence Fees)
THIS NOTICE APPLIES to Utility Regulation and Competition Office (‘Office’) Information and Communications Technology Licensees (‘Licensee’) as defined by section 2 of Information and Communications Technology Law (2019 Revision) (‘Law’); and in recognition of the provisions set out at section 30 of the Law.
THIS NOTICE follows on from the Notice of Non-Compliance published by the Office on 30 November 2018. As set out in that Notice the Office has undertaken formal compliance actions with each delinquent and non-compliant Licensee, with directives being issued to become compliant on or before 31 July 2019.
THIS NOTICE serves to remind said Licensees of their obligations under Clause 3 “Licence Fees” and Annex 2 of their Licences and further actions by the Office.
ENFORCEMENT ACTIONS BY THE OFFICE
Notwithstanding actions noted above, following this Notice, the Office will commence formal enforcement actions with each delinquent and non-compliant Licensee as provided for in the ICT Law and the Utility Regulation and Competition Law (2019 Revision).
