Gregg Anderson provides leadership and guidance in the economic regulation of the energy and water sectors including guiding executives, stakeholders, and board members in making strategic business and policy decisions. Gregg has a diverse career, spanning over more than32 years, which includes various strategy, operations, sales and marketing, regulatory compliance, and risk management roles in both the financial and telecoms industries. He served as Non-Executive Director and Deputy Chairman of OfReg and Director of the former Electricity Regulatory Office(ERO) as well as a member of its Technical Committee.
Prior to joining OfReg, Gregg developed and directed growth strategies, risk management, anti-money laundering and anti-terrorist programmers, policies, procedures, projects, training, and development. Gregg is a regular public speaker in international forums and addresses topics such as energy transition, business strategy, governance, risk and compliance. He is a business writer and serves on several profit and not-for-profit Boards. Gregg received his undergraduate degree(Hons)from the Anglia Ruskin University, UK, earned an MBA from Queens University, School of Business, Canada, is a Certified Management Consultant, and is also a Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist. He received the Canadian Securities Certificate from the Canadian Securities Institute and is licensed by the Cayman Islands Monetary Office as a Professional Director
Gregg is a member of the International Energy Agency (IEA), Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers (IEEE),Institute of Engineering and Technology (IET),the Association of Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialists (ACAMS), the Academy of Regulatory Professional (ARP), the Canadian Association of Management Consultants (CAMC),the American Writer and Artists Institute.
