WS 2018 – 1 – Consultation

Consultation on Proposed Water Sector (Licence, Fee and Penalty) Regulations 

The Utility Regulation and Competition Office (‘OfReg’) is launching a consultation with the general public regarding the proposed Water Sector (Licence, Fee and Penalty) Regulations, which the Office sees as necessary in order to implement a licensing framework in relation to the water sector within the Cayman Islands.

The consultation document will be posted on OfReg’s website at www.ofreg.ky. 

The consultation will be conducted as a single-phase consultation over a period of thirty (30) days. Where, upon review of the responses to the consultation, it becomes clear that a second phase of consultation is required, a further notice will be issued accordingly. 

Responses to the consultation must be submitted to OfReg on or before 5 p.m., 21 September 2018 and are to be submitted:
